Stella C. (nee Mirecki) Laskey-Stoeckle of Holland, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, May 13th at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 85.

Stella was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Stoeckle, Sr. and the late Edward J. Laskey.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Stanislawa Szulczewski Mirecki.

Stella was a proud alumnus of Nazareth Academy’s class of 1946. She worked as a Radiologic Technologist, an office manager, and has most recently worked in the Parish office at the Church of St. Andrew. Stella was an active parishioner of the Church of St. Andrew and was a past member of the Choir. She enjoyed stitching and being an exemplary seamstress and in her leisure she also enjoyed golf, going on cruises, time spent at the beach, and vacationing with the people she loved the most, her family.

Stella will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.

In addition to her husband Thomas, Stella is survived by her loving children; Michael Laskey (Laura) of Palm Harbor, FL, Paul Laskey of Johnstown, PA, Steven Laskey (Felicia) of Newtown Boro, Andrea Burkhardt (the late John) of Allentown, PA, John Laskey (Nicole) of Hamburg, PA, and her step-children Thomas J. Stoeckle, Jr. (Eileen) of Fallsington, PA, Deborah King (John) of Akron, OH, Robert C. Stoeckle (Teresa) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Michael W. Stoeckle (Ericka) of Newtown, PA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 1 step great grand child.

Stella’s family will receive friends on Monday, May 19th from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:30AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will be private at Newtown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Adult Choir at the Church of St. Andrew at the aforementioned address or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
