DeeMarie Watson Skulsky, of Doylestown, died peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016, at her residence. She was 47.
She was the beloved and admired wife of 17 years to Robert Skulsky.
Born in Clementon, NJ she was the loving daughter of Steve and Patricia Luciana Watson.
DeeMarie was a Project Manager with Merck and Company for 17 years. Prior to Merck, Dee worked as a Microbiologist for Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dee held a BS degree in Medical Technology and a Masters degree in Cell Biology and Biotechnology.
Dee’s true passion outside of work was her kids and volunteer work. She helped with the Girl Scouts as the “cookie mom” and was a head cheerleading coach for the Lenape Valley Indians.
In addition to her husband Robert and her parents Steve and Patricia, DeeMarie survived by her loving and devoted children Michael Robert Skulsky and Jessica Vera Skulsky of Doylestown, her siblings Sherry Augello (Jaime) and Steve Watson Jr and her father and mother-in-law Robert and Leona Skulsky.
DeeMarie’s family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901, and on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd., Doylestown, PA 18902 from 10:00 am until her funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Her interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street Philadelphia, PA 19103.
