Margaret Whitman, of Feasterville, passed away on May 18, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 94.

Born in Luzerne, PA, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Birus Evasic.

She was the beloved wife of the late Viddie A. Whitman for 49 years.

Margaret was a resident of Philadelphia before moving to Feasterville, where she has lived for the last 60 years. She was gifted with a talent for sewing and used her skills as a seamstress to help support her family. Upon retirement, Margaret became a full time grandma. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Margaret is survived by her children: Margaret Williams and her husband Ken of New Hope, James Whitman and his late wife Diane of Southampton, Karen Dickson and her husband Joe of Feasterville, and Diane Beeco and her husband Brian of Feasterville; her sisters: Matilda Proach, Marcella Marlin, Bernadine Ridilla and Dorothy Winckoski and her husband John; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am in Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 1019 West 9th St. King of Prussia, PA 19406.
