John J. Moskowitz of Roslyn passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was 72.

John was the beloved husband of 48 years to Arlene L. Wilkes Moskowitz.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Stephanie Wolos Moskowitz.

John was a resident of Roslyn for over 60 years. He was a proud veteran of the US Army having served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. John was a freelance Electro-Mechanical Designer throughout his lifetime who worked for various companies. In his leisure, he was an avid railfan, model rail enthusiast, and consummate family man. John will be truly missed by his cherished family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife Arlene, John is survived by his children, Susan C. Sullivan and her husband Lewis of Roslyn, Linda M. Moskowitz and her husband Donald Quinn of Warminster and Stephanie A. Moskowitz of Warrington. He is also survived by his 4 cherished grandchildren, Charles and his wife Lauren (nee Flowers), Christopher, Brian and Nicholas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 6:00pm until his Words of Remembrance at 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 17th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. John’s interment with Military Honors will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 18th in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Abington Memorial Hospital Home Care/Hospice, Suite 250, 2510 Maryland Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090-0520.
