Robert S. Schott, 46, of Chalfont passed away following a courageous battle with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His loving family was by his side as he went on to be reunited with his beloved son Bobby who passed away in 2001.

Robert was the beloved husband of 26 years to Billie Jo Frodge Schott and the father of Ashley R., Corey M., Danielle M., and the late Bobby.

Born in Lansdale, PA he was the son of Gregory and Rachel O’Brien Schott.

A 1988 graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Rob was a proud recipient of the Kingsbury Award and was a huge part of leading the CB West football team in an historical undefeated streak, playing the position of defensive tackle.

Rob worked for many years as a carpenter in the construction industry. Most of all Rob was an outdoorsman through and through. He loved hunting, fishing and most importantly treasured time spent with his loving family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, children, and parents Robert is survived by his brothers Gregory Schott, Robert J. and Michael Loughery, his sisters Kimberly Dudzinski and Carissa Loughery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Sunday Evening May 15, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:30am to 9:15 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral home 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA
