Virginia Kapsalis Bardi of Doylestown died peacefully on Friday, May 23rd, at her home. She was 58.

She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Mark S. Bardi, and loving mother of Mark and Michael Bardi.

Born in Boston, MA she was the cherished daughter of D. Shirley Sanson Kapsalis and the late James N. Kapsalis. Additionally, Virginia is survived by her brothers Peter and Charlie Kapsalis, and her many nieces and nephews.

Virginia worked for many years as a Librarian with Central Bucks and New Hope Solebury School Districts. During her tenure as a Librarian, Virginia enjoyed watching and encouraging children to read for the power of knowledge and for the pleasure reading brings to a person. Furthermore, she enjoyed keeping up with the latest technology, traveling with family, living in France, and enjoying the fresh mountain air in Maine. Virginia also kept a special place in her heart for her two favorite dogs, Wallace and the late Carver. She will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.

Virginia’s family will receive friends on Friday evening, May 30th from 6:00PM until her Funeral Service 7:30PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be private.
