Thomas F. Lambert of Richboro passed away tragically on Thursday April 21, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne as a result of injuries sustained from an accident. He was 88.
Thomas was the beloved husband of 62 years to Jeanne F. Graham Lambert.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Albert and Florence Kennedy Lambert, father of the late Thomas Andrew Lambert and brother of the late Albert and Richard Lambert.
Thomas was a former resident of Broomall before moving to Richboro in 2000. He was a graduate of Girard College and served our country in the US Navy. Thomas attended Indiana University and completed his graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He had a distinguished career in Sales and Consulting at Pennsalt and the American Institute for Research before working as a Systems Analyst for the School District of Philadelphia until his retirement in 1993. In his leisure, Thomas was an avid reader and had a passion for military history. He was an excellent cook and truly enjoyed sharing his culinary creations for extended family gatherings. Thomas never missed an opportunity to be present at any of his children’s and grandchildren’s activities especially their sporting events, concerts and plays. He will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his beloved wife Jeanne, Thomas is survived by his children, Charles J. Lambert and his wife Martha of Doylestown, Timothy J. Lambert and his wife Geralyn of Downingtown and Elizabeth L. Tolkach and her husband Stephen of Newtown. He is also survived by his 10 cherished grandchildren, Leighann, Andrew, Victoria, Charles, Alaina, Anastasia, Timothy, Alexandra, Jennifer and Margaret.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, April 25th from 5:30-8:30pm and again on Tuesday, April 26 from 9:00-10:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 followed by his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:30am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Thomas’s interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Girard College Fund, 2101 S. College Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19121.
