Sally W. Walker of Holland, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne.
Sally was the beloved wife of Robert W. Walker, to whom she was married for 47 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Anna Louise (Glenn) Walton.
A lifelong educator, Sally worked as an elementary school teacher for the North Penn and Council Rock School Districts for 30 years until her retirement in 2008. During her time at Richboro Elementary School, she became very involved in the school’s plays, and continued her involvement after her retirement.
She was a long time, very active member of Scottsville United Methodist Church in Langhorne.
Sally treasured the time spent at her family’s home in Stone Harbor, NJ. During the summers she was an active member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Stone Harbor and volunteered her time and talent with the Vacation Bible School.
Above all else, Sally will be remembered for her kindness, love, and devotion which she shared openly and generously. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by her brother David Walton; her children Amy W. Tomes, wife of Jason; and Robert W. Walker Jr., husband of Stefanie; her adoring grandchildren Ian Tomes, and Robert, Jonathan and Gracyn Elizabeth Walker.
