Margaret F. Muller of Warminster died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Neshaminy Manor Home in Warrington. She was 90.
Margaret was deceased by both of her husbands, Joseph Berns and Robert Muller.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida Mae Straub Shaughnessy.
Margaret was a former resident of Hatboro before moving to Warminster in 1990. She was a communicant of the Nativity of Our Lord Church in Warminster.
She was a true lover of people, life and travel. Margaret had a special aura about her that brightened the lives of everyone she met, family and strangers alike. She enriched the lives of so many people in her life, including 26 foster children over the years (who became part of her family and still keep in touch with her). Margaret made everyone feel like they were true family and had a wonderful gift of bringing out the best in each and every one of us.
Margaret was the matriarch of our whole family and last year everyone celebrated her 90th birthday with about 60 family and friends. She always loved family gatherings and even in her declining years made sure she attended (with family members carrying her wheelchair up stairs and/or hills in back yards).
She was one of a kind!! Although we here on Earth feel a great loss, heaven has gained a beautiful angel!! Her spirit will always be with us as she watches over us, all with pride and love. As she always said: Good Night and God Bless You!!
Margaret is survived by her children, John M. Berns and his wife Sarah of Philadelphia and Margaret “Maggie” M. Berns and Frank Muller, both of Warminster. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Cadence and 2 great grandchildren, Siena and Leon.
Relatives and friends are invited to great the family from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am on Tuesday, April 12th at the Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. Margaret’s interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 521 Plymouth Road, Suite 108, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 or Bethanna Home, Foster Care Services, 1030 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
