Edward Skibo, of Southampton, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was 93.

He was the beloved husband to the late Apoline Specilney Skibo.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Stegura Skibo and father of the late Edward Skibo.

Ed grew up in Bethlehem and after graduating from Liberty High School and Technical School; he joined the US Navy and served during WW II.  Upon return home after his honorable discharge in 1946 he moved to Philadelphia and began his career with "ASO" at the Philadelphia Naval Depot, where he worked for over 40 years before retiring in 1986 as a procurement manager.

In 1949 he married his sweetheart Apoline and eventually moved with his family to rural Bucks County in 1953. Ed enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. He joined Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish and has been a dedicated and faithful communicant. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family and friends.

He is survived by his children; Mary Vaughan and her husband Charles, Susan Skibo, Steven Skibo, Robert Skibo and his wife Heidi and Peter Skibo. Dear brother of Helen Wiley, and Paul Skibo and his wife Lillian. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; Holly, Robert, Rebecca, Stanley, Edward III and Diane Skibo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Monday evening March 28th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and on Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00 am. His interment with Military Honors will follow in Union Cemetery Hellertown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory should be made to the American Heart Assoc. 5455 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43214.
