Vivian E. Flis of Holland died Monday, March 14, 2016 at Pickering Manor Home in Newtown. She was 94.

Born in Sperry, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Elizabeth Burgus Buescher. Mrs. Flis was formerly a resident of Bensalem, where she lived for over sixty years. She was also a parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were: gardening, baking, and travel.

She was the beloved wife of Chester Flis who preceded her in death. Vivian is survived by her son John M. Flis of Holland, her granddaughter Adrienne Vance and husband Steven and her great granddaughter Isabella. She is also survived by a brother, Duayne F. Buescher and his wife Judee A. of Sperry, Iowa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, March 18^th at 10:00am in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am followed by Vivian’s interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Capital Campaign Fund of St. Bede the Venerable Church at the above address.
