Charles J. “Chalie” McQuaid of Lansdale, PA. Passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2016. He was 50 years old. He is and always will be the loving son of Charles & Carole (Mickiewicz) McQuaid. He is the loving father of Nichole and Holly, The dear Brother of Dana Guarnaccia (Michael), Uncle of Nicholas and Andrew, As well as the Nephew of Janice Smith (Bruce) and cousins of Jamie and Shaun. Also survived by his devoted fiancé, Kathy Green.

Chalie graduated from Northeast Catholic High Schooling Philadelphia PA. And went on to attend Pennco Technical School where he studied engineering technology. He later studied cosmetology and spent many years a hair stylist. To say Chalie was a sports enthusiast would be an understatement. He was an avid sports fan, in particular the Minnesota Vikings  and a big New York Islanders hockey fan. Chalie was the lead singer of a number of bands, but most known singing in “Down N Out” and his true passion for performing rock music.

Above all else, Chalie will be, most remembered for is unwavering love and devotion for his family. Chalie adored his girls and was extremely proud of them. He was admired by many for his strength and ability to overcome challenges as well as for his loving demeanor and sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 10:00 am until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454. His interment will be private.
