Joseph Mravich, of Chalfont, PA, formerly of Youngtown, died on Monday, February 29, 2016, at New Seasons at New Britain. He was 93.

He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Ann Tirpack Mravich.

Born in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mildred Meardvich Mravich.

Joseph was born and raised in Youngstown he was the youngest of 7 children. After graduating from high school he joined the US Navy and proudly served his country during World War II.  When he returned home from the war he worked as a carpenter.  Like many tradesmen, he started at the bottom.  However, with hard work he refined his skills and used them to start his own business, BTM Construction. Throughout the years he worked in all the facets of the construction and building industries, perfecting his expertise every step of the way.   

He was an outgoing and friendly man who enjoyed having a conversation with anyone at anytime.  He loved to whistle, sing and play the harmonica for his family and friends.  His outgoing personality and contagious happiness will be truly missed by those who knew him, especially his granddaughters.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Marla Garneau of Chalfont, and his two granddaughters, Kirstyn Garneau and Whitney Garneau. He was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Mravich.

His services and interment in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA will be held privately by the family.
