Phyllis J. Burns of Levittown died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 79.

Phyllis was the daughter of the late Janet Wadsworth Burns and mother of the late Linda Jean Barnes.

Phyllis was a long time resident of Rockledge before moving to Levittown in 15 years ago. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who devoted much of her life to raising her three adoring grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Scott Allen Barnes, Randall Phillip Barnes and Dwain Olin Barnes, all of Levittown. She is also survived by her brother Richard S. Burns of Elkins Park, her sister Janet Andress-Magee of Northfield, NJ; and her 3 cherished grandchildren, Jonathan Barnes, Andrew Barnes and Addalynn Pickering.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10:00 am until her Funeral Service 11:00 am on Monday, February 29^th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901. Phyllis’s interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery in Doylestown.
