James M. Flynn Sr. of Newtown died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 72.

James was the beloved husband of 47 years to Barbara J. (Crowley) Flynn.

James was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan who attended many games throughout the years. One of his favorite memories was attending the game with his family when the Phillies won the World Series in 2008.

His children and his grandchildren were the joy of his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
