Ruth Linder Rohrman, most recently of Pickering Manor in Newtown and formerly of Newtown and Hartsville, died peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2016, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 89.

She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Robert A. Rohrman.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Madeline Eibell Linder, and the mother of the late Robert, William, and Paul Rohrman.

Ruth was a graduate of the Berkeley School of Business in Manhattan, and worked for J. Arthur Rank, a British film production company, in the Empire State Building. She later worked as an administrative assistant at Bucks County Community College, from which she graduated in 1982. In her leisure she enjoyed the theater, traveling with family and friends, playing bridge, and cross-country skiing. Above everything in life, Ruth with her husband cherished the times they had with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, creating memories that will last forever in their hearts.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her devoted children, Richard Rohrman and his wife Joanne of Long Branch, NJ, James Rohrman and his wife Debbie of Matawan, NJ, and Mariane Hitchner of Hatboro. Ruth is also survived by her brother, Rev. Msgr. William J. Linder, her 9 grandchildren and her 2 great grandchildren, as well as her beloved aunt, Rosemary Eibell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Visitation at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA, 18940 will be from 11:15AM-12:15PM on Friday, January 29, 2016, with her Funeral Mass to follow at 12:30PM.
