Walter Eugene Rodriguez of Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Delaware Valley VA Home. He was 93.

He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Virginia S. Topolski Rodriguez.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dolores Gonzales Rodriguez. He was a former resident of Holland, PA and then resided in Cape May, NJ, prior to entering the VA Home. 

While attending Frankford High School he began his career at Yale and Towne. He left the company for the Army Air Corps where he served in the South Pacific theater of Operations, After receiving several commendations with the Air Force, he returned to Yale and worked his way up to becoming administrator of Yale's International Operations.

In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his children, Denise L. Derr and Estelle D. Rodriguez Cella; his sister, Faith Thompson (Richard);his brother Richard Rod Irma): five grandchildren, Jaclyne, Erik, Jamie, Ryan and Zachary and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 8:30 AM until his Memorial Service 9:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954.
