William C. “Billy” Hamburger of York, PA formerly of Huntingdon Valley, died on Saturday January 9, 2016, at Chandler Hall Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was 43.

Born in Philadelphia, Billy was the son of and William C. Jr. and Virginia O'Neill Hamburger.

Billy grew up in Huntingdon Valley and was very athletic excelling in both baseball and football.  He attended LaSalle High School before transferring to The Pennington School, graduating in 1992 and then continuing on to Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ.  He was a dedicated Philadelphia Sports fan supporting the Eagles, Flyers and the Sixers and Phillies regardless of their record.  He will be deeply missed by his devoted family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters Anne Marie Schulz and her husband Dave, and Christine Broderick and her husband Kevin. He is also survived by his, 3 nieces and 3 nephews and many cousins and friends.

Billy’s family will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 10:00 am until his Funeral Mass 11:30 am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.  His interment will be held privately.
