Harry R. Watson III of Jamison passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his residence. He was 75.

Harry was the beloved husband of 35 years to Barbara A. Casselli Watson.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry R. Jr. and Florence Steward Watson.

Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having attained the rank of E-5 Corporal after just three years of service. He went on to lead a long, varied, and very successful career during which time he held leadership positions for Coca-Cola and Pepsi. His career also led him to call a few different places home around the country before eventually settling down back in Pennsylvania where he went on to own and operate Watson Contracting Services until his passing.

Harry was fulfilled by his family and his work. He was driven, hardworking, and will be remembered for his effortless ability to inspire and motivate all those around him. He also enjoyed fishing and motorcycling, however his career and his family were paramount to him and his focus on them never waivered, even until the very end. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his beloved wife Barbara, Harry is survived by his children, Christopher Watson and his wife Nicole of Perkasie, Jeffery Watson and his wife Jacquelyn of Yardley and Nicole K. Watson of Jamison; his sister Lee Anne Surrena of Lancaster, PA and his three cherished grandchildren Carter, Callie and Lily.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Harry’s life with a time to greet his family, on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 5:00 PM until his Memorial Service 7:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.   His interment with military honors will take place on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940 where guests are asked to assemble at the cemetery’s office no later than 11:15 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the Bucks County SPCA at P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
