Arnold Reifenstein of Chalfont passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Solana Senior Living in Horsham, PA. He was 88.

He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Waltraut Scheffel Reifenstein and brother of the late Clara, Margot and Wilhelm.

Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Waldemar and Grete Jablonski Reifenstein.

Arnold moved to Rochester, NY in 1954 and was a Scientific Master Glass Blower.  He worked for Blaessig Glass Specialties in Rochester for over 30 years, when he retired in 1984 and moved to Orlando, FL. Then in 1997 he moved to Chalfont to be closer to his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, Arnold, is survived by his children Michael Reifenstein, Konrad Reifenstein both of Rochester, NY, and Martin J. Reifenstein and his wife, Laurie, of North Wales. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren Jared Reifenstein, Krysta (Ben) Logsdon, Monika Reifenstein, Jeramie Reifenstein, Loni Reifenstein, Kory Reifenstein, Erika (Josh) Lounder, David Reifenstein, Elena Reifenstein, Daniel Reifenstein and 3 great grandchildren Emma, Isabella and Silas Logsdon.

Arnold’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday January 9, 2016 from 10:00AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Rd. North Wales, PA 19454. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
