Peter B. Pietrangelo passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Abington Health-Lansdale Hospital. He was 68.

Peter was the cherished Fiancé of Christine K. Sheva and they treasured their life together.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of the late Peter and Bruna A. Spada Pietrangelo.

Peter graduated from Northeast Catholic High School before going on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Drexel University. His career began in insurance sales for Sun Life of Canada where he served as a regional manager. He then was able to turn his passion into a career when he became owner of Face Off Circle in Warminster. What began as spear heading the mission to “Keep the Kids Skating” when the rink was in danger of closing, led to eventual ownership for over 30 years. It was no doubt one of his most proud accomplishments.

Peter was most recently employed in automotive sales with Kia of Warrington where he was highly regarded and admired by his colleagues.

A dedicated hockey enthusiast, his other passions included fishing and spending the summers at his home in Sea Isle City, NJ. Most of all, however, he will be remembered for his strong yet voraciously sweet and kind heart as well as his wittiness and ability make those around him smile. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

In addition to his Fiancé, Peter was the devoted father of his surviving children, Peter B. Pietrangelo Jr. (Kristine) of Warminster, Michael W. Pietrangelo of Chalfont, Dina L. Pietrangelo of Doylestown, Brett A. Sheva of Philadelphia and Kyle W. Sheva of Horsham. He is also survived by his dear sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Anthony Tevere of Warrington and his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Deborah Pietrangelo of West Palm Beach, FL; and his five adoring grandchildren, Peter III, Kacie, Nicolas, Dominic and Gianna. Peter loved and was loved by so many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Tuesday December 29, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM and on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901, and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. His interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
