Edward C. Kemner of Ivyland, PA died on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 86.
He was the beloved husband of Lillian M. Kemner for 25 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Elsie (Gluntz) Kemner and brother of the late William and Ruth.
Mr. Kemner was a resident of Ivyland since 2001 and formerly lived in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia from 1994 until moving to Ivyland. He was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1947. Before his retirement in 1992, he was employed by Bell Telephone Company for 35 years. He started his career working as a lineman and progressed to a computer technician. He was a member of the F & AM Southampton Radiant Star Lodge #806 for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed sailing and was a skilled woodworker. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his beloved wife, Lillian, he is survived by 6 children: Leslie and her husband David, Sandra, Jeffrey and his wife Gail, Alan, Gina, and, Christina her husband Raymond. He is also survived by his brother Charles and his wife Clara and by 8 grandchildren: Sean, Jessica, Jackson, Genevieve, Raymond, Olivia, Andrea and Tyler and 2 great grandchildren, Jackson and Jason.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service 12:00 Noon at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
