Margaret M. O’Donnell Leutwyler, of Doylestown passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Neshaminy Manor. She was 84.
She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Leutwyler.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret McDonough O’Donnell.
Margaret graduated from Little Flower High School and later met and married her husband with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
She was a faithful and active parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish where she volunteered much of her time. She also volunteered with the Pastoral Care team at Doylestown Hospital which was a role she took great pride in.
Above all else, Margaret was steadfastly devoted to her family who she always put first before anything else. She will be dearly missed as a loving Mother, Gram, Gigi, sister and friend.
Margaret is survived by her loving and devoted children; Suzanne Kochanski and Robert of Sellersville, William J. Leutwyler Jr. and Karen of Holland, David J. Leutwyler and Linda of New Egypt, NJ, and Margaret Leutwyler of Dublin. She is also survived by her brother Joseph O’Donnell; her sister Mary Zuccarini; six grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Thomas, Denise, David, and Daniel; and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday December 22, 2015 from10:00 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Caring Hospice at 400 Commerce Dr., Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
