Frank J. Krause of Chalfont, PA died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, with his wife by his side. He was 78.
He was the beloved husband of Geraldine P. O’Neill Krause for 55 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Peter and Victoria Milewski Krause.
Mr. Krause was a resident of Chalfont since l973. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Class of l954. He was a proud Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Before his retirement in 1996, Frank was employed as a tool & dye maker with Budd Company in Philadelphia for 42 years. He was a sports enthusiast always cheering for the Phillies and Eagles. He was an excellent chef and especially enjoyed cooking for his family. He was a dedicated family man who looked forward to the special times spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his three children; Frank J. Krause Jr. of Quakertown, PA, Bonaventura Potts of Panther, PA, Bernadette Dallatore of Perkasie, PA and his sister, Beatrice Bretz of Telford. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
His family will receive condolences on Friday, November 7, 2014, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901.
Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
