Harold W. Smith of Sellersville, PA died peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Rockhill Mennonite Community, Sellersville, PA.  He was 91.

He was the beloved husband of Annie R. Huff Smith for 69 years. Born in Doylestown, PA, he was the son of the late Edwin and Ruth Wentz Smith.

Harold was a resident of New Britain Borough for 66 years before moving to Rockhill Mennonite Community 3 years ago.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II.  In 1947 he started his own business, Smith Mobile, located in New Britain and 10 years later he expanded his business to Smith Marine, which was passed down to his sons and is still in operation today.  He enjoyed what he did for a living and was always busy at work.  In his leisure time, he would take his family on weekend getaways, including boating and snowmobiling at Lake Wallenpaupack, where many cherished memories were made. Harold was very family-oriented and always enjoyed the special times spent with his children and grandchildren.  Five months ago he became a great grandfather, which made him extremely proud.  He will be missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his three sons, Thomas L. Smith and his wife, Lori, of Old Forge, NY, Jack W. Smith and his wife, Karen, of Jamison, PA, Chuck M. Smith and his wife, Donna, of Perkasie, PA, his brother, Wilbur Smith and his wife, Joan, of Boonville, NY and his sister, Katherine Quinby of Buckingham, PA.  Furthermore, he is survived by 6 loving grandchildren: Thomas Smith Jr., Doug Smith, Ryan Smith, Jennifer Smith, Erica Lehneis (Michael Mullen), Tori Smith and his great granddaughter, Everly Mullen.

Family and friends are invited on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 10:00AM until his Funeral Service 11:00AM, at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901.  Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
