Walter J. White of Doylestown, PA died on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at his residence. He was 80.

He was the beloved husband of Ruth M. Brenneisen White for 57 years.

Born in Neptune, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Walter and Belia E. Conklin White and brother of the late Richard White.

Mr. White was a resident of Doylestown since 1996. He formerly lived in the Kensington section of Philadelphia for 38 years. He was employed as a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department for 15 years before retiring in 1983. Walter was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5. While working full time as a police officer, he simultaneously was the owner of Chicken Delight in the Kensington section. In his leisure time, Walter enjoyed fishing, boating and painting. He will always be remembered for his keen sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. He will be sadly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Ruth M. LoMagro and her husband, Chuck, of Media, PA, Walter J. White and his wife, Kimberly, of Warminster, PA and his brother, George White and his wife, Lillian, of Manasquan, NJ. He is also survived by his three grandsons, Walter J. III, Jonathan and his wife, Katelyn, and Kenneth and also three great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901 and to his Funeral Mass 12:30 PM at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA.

Interment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
