Mark D. Arbeter Jr. of Holland, PA died suddenly on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at his residence. He was 25.

Born in Abington, Mark was the loving son of Mark D., Sr. and Laurie J. Harvison Arbeter and the grandson of Melvin and Frances J. Arbeter and Virginia A. Harvison and the late Alan R. Harvison (Barbara Glaeser).

Mark was a life long resident of Bucks County. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School South, Class of 2008. He attended West Chester University for 2 years, and took nursing classes at BCCC.

Mark was a Crew foreman for ServiceMaster, in the Home Restoration division for the past few years. Mark loved sports and was an exceptionally talented Roller Hockey player. Mark played for many teams; including the Coyotes, the Piranha’s, Team Breakaway, Tour Excitement, West Chester (where his team won a National Championship), and the Delco Demon’s (also won a National Championship). Mark also played for Team Pennsylvania for 3 years as well as a Junior Olympics team in Colorado. Mark played ice hockey for Council Rock South. Mark was a fitness fanatic, doing whatever it took to become a better player.

Mark had a great love for music and frequented many concerts. One of his favorite concerts was when he saw Black Sabbath with his father in 2013. What was so special about Mark was his love for his daughter Anna Grace, who made his eyes sparkle.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Mark is survived by his daughter, Anna Grace Arbeter, his fiancée Candace Podgorski, and his brother and sister, Jared M. and Kylee N. Arbeter. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.

Mark’s family will receive friends on Friday, November 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, 18954 and on Saturday, November 21st at Northampton Presbyterian Church, 539 Buck Rd. Holland, PA 18966 from 9:00 am until his Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to “Mark Arbeter Jr. Donations”, C/O Wells Fargo Bank, 725 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954 in order to establish a college fund for Anna Grace.
