Howard P. Clinger of Churchville died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, November 13, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 81.

Born in Shrader, PA., Howard was the beloved husband of 62 years to Donna V. Luse Clinger, son of the late James and Lydia Jones Clinger and father-in-law of the late Joan M. Clinger.

Howard was a resident of Churchville for the past 53 years. He was an owner-operator truck driver for over 50 years and the President of Clinger Transportation, having traveled throughout the lower 48 States and Canada. Howard was a master mechanic on both diesel and gas engines and could fix any type of motor. He was a Corporal in the United State Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, a former member of the Churchville Rotary Club. Howard looked forward to working in his garden, going to the Jersey shore and camping with his family. He will be sadly missed for his warm smile and firm and welcoming handshake.

In addition to his beloved wife, Howard is survived by his dear children and their spouses Kathy A. Clinger, Jeffrey H. Clinger and his fiancé Judith Camacho, Karen M. Crawford and her husband Bob, He is also survived by 3 dear grandchildren; Matthew R. Clinger (Michelle), Philip R. Clinger and Bobby Crawford and Tina Edwards whom he thought of as one of his children.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, November 23, 2014 from 11:00 AM until his Funeral service 12:30 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment with military honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
