Nelson E. Landen of Dublin, PA died suddenly on Friday, November13, 2015, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA.  He was 70.

He was the beloved husband of Marie Mocknick Landen for 48 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence Dunn Landenberger and father of the late Dennis Landen.

Mr. Landen was a resident of Dublin for the past 13 years and formerly lived in Newtown.  He graduated from St. Joseph University, Class of 1976, where he received his bachelor degree in accounting.  For more than 20 years he worked in the accounting field.  Most recently he was employed by Statewide Security and Norristown State Hospital as a security supervisor.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed reading, liked all types of sports, taking trips to the beach, and a friendly game of poker.  He always looked forward to spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He will be sadly missed as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two children, Mark Landen of Dublin and Marla M. Pellegrini and her husband, Dennis, of Doylestown, his brother, David Landenberger of Churchville, his sister, Renee Duncheski and her husband, John, of Drexel Hill, and his sister-in-law, Alice Landenberger of Newtown.  He is also survived by his five loving grandchildren, Ava, Ashley, Dominic, Daniel and Denny Pellegrini.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.  Interment with military honors will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
