Harry D. Zambelli of Vero Beach, FL, formerly a long time resident of Feasterville, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 in Vero Beach, Florida. He was 78.
Harry was the beloved husband of 49 years to the late Patricia A. Motto Zambelli.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ, Harry was the son of the late Harry and Rita McCarthy Zambelli.
Harry was raised in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated top in his class from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He had a long career in Financial Planning and Commercial Real Estate. Following his retirement, he and his wife began spending time between their home in Feasterville as well as in Florida.
A man dedicated to his community, Harry was deeply involved with the local and county politics of Bucks County with a long standing membership in the Republican Party. Harry enthusiastically served his community in Lower Southampton where he held office on the Board of Supervisors and later as a member of the Vero Beach Republican Seniors.
An avid boxer, Harry was a Golden Glove Champion during his teens and never lost his love of the sport, following it through his life. Harry shared his love of boxing with his two son-in-laws and grandsons.
Surviving are his daughters, Drs. Tricia Zambelli and husband Tim McNamee of Vero Beach, FL and Karen Long and her husband Chris of Trevose, PA.
He is also survived by his loving sister Eileen Chatereski; his niece Dawn Wilson; and his three loving grandsons Christopher M. Long and Brett and Ryan McNamee.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their condolences with the family on Saturday, November 14th from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Second Street Pike & Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA . His interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
