James Joseph Jamison III of Churchville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 60 years of age.
Jim was the beloved husband of 38 years to Teresa Lomanno Jamison.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jim was the son of the late James J. Jr and Therese McKeon Jamison.
A 1972 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Jim was a former resident of the Parkwood section of Philadelphia before fulfilling a lifelong dream by moving to Bucks County, PA in 1991. He was a Refinery Operator and Training Coordinator for over 39 years with Arco, Sun Oil and most recently, Philadelphia Energy Solutions. Jim was a Communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro, PA and in his leisure greatly enjoyed Phillies baseball, trips to Cape May, walks throughout Tyler State Park and spending lots of quality time with his family. Jim was extremely active as a coach, volunteer and mentor amongst the youth of both Parkwood and Council Rock. A fiercely loyal and dedicated family man, Jim was extremely proud of his Irish heritage and culture, and will be remembered for his patience and generosity by all who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance.
In addition to his wife Teresa, Jim is survived by his sons James IV of Philadelphia (Susan), Joseph Michael of Yardley (Brooke) and Patrick John of Churchville. He is also survived by his brothers Michael of Philadelphia and Jack of Oaks, PA (Beth), his sister Diane of Cape May Courthouse, NJ (Ted), 4 grandchildren (James V, Henry, Ella and Owen), 8 nieces and nephews and the Lomanno family.
Relatives and friends are invited to express their condolences Saturday, November 7th from 9:00 am until his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Services will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954, followed by Jim's interment at Resurrection in Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church.
