Walter Mueller, of Warminster, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Abington Hospice, Warminster. He was 83.

He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Irene A. Mannheims Mueller. Born in Philadelphia, Walter was the son of the late Alfred and Elfrieda Unger Mueller and brother-in-law of the late Edward Andersen and Gerhard Gaenssle.

Walter graduated from Olney High School, class of 1950. He and his wife lived in Olney for 37 years before moving to Warminster in 2009. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Kirkpatrick. Walter worked for the University of Pennsylvania as a machinist in the Physics department for over 30 years.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, photography and traveling, especially to the warm weather in Naples, Fl. Walter was a member of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club in Warminster, a Mason and member of the Hiram Lodge # 0081 F & AM and the Allentown Consistory. He will be missed for his gracious smile and warm and welcoming manner.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is also survived by his brother Alfred Mueller and his wife Carol, his 2 sisters, Edna Andersen and Marguerite Gaenssle and 3 nieces and 8 nephews and his sister-in-law Charlotte Mannheims.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday from 10:30am until his Funeral Service 12 noon at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be private.
