Joseph Paul Arnao, formerly of Langhorne, PA, died peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Majestic Oaks Nursing Home, Warminster.  He was 73.

He was the beloved husband of the late Cheryl A. Smith Arnao.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony and Alice McBride Arnao.

Mr. Arnao had been a resident of Langhorne for 12 years before moving to Majestic Oaks in 2009. Early on he worked for Gould Battery in Trenton, NJ and then was employed for 20 years as a baker with Nabisco Company in Philadelphia.  He enjoyed all types of sports and was an avid fan of the Phillies, the Eagles and the Sixers.  When his sons were growing up, he always looked forward to playing hockey and basketball with them. He will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.

He is survived by his children, Joseph Arnao and his wife, Carol, Tony Arnao and his wife, Renee, and Daniel S. Arnao, Nicholas L. Tamaro, Sandra L. Norbeck and Kristen M. Reichwein and her husband Peter.  He is also survived by his brother and sister; Fran Arnao and his wife, Martha, Marie Farris and her husband John, and 12 loving grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 8:30 to 9:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
