William F. Fetter of Bucks County, PA., most recently of Dublin, PA., died peacefully on Thursday October 29, 2015, at his home with his devoted wife and family at his side.

Born in Quincy, III, Bill was a resident of Bucks County for the better part of 20 years having lived in Dublin for the past 3 years. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Louise A. Gould Fetter and son of the late Joseph E. and Elizabeth Ann Lechtenberg Fetter.

Bill was a graduate of Quincy-Notre Dame High School, class of 1968. He graduated from General Motors Institute (Kettering University), class of 1973, with his degree in Mechanical Engineering, and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Bill had a long and lustrous career with General Motors which spanned over 35 years.

Bill was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Hilltown. He was a talented and accomplished woodworker, a tinker who enjoyed working on his cars. He was a veracious reader and had a photo graphic memory. What stood out most about Bill was his love for family, his wife and children. His grandchildren where the sparkle in his eyes especially when he was helping them with projects they had. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family and those whom he befriended.

In addition to his beloved wife, Bill is survived by his dear children and their spouses William E. Fetter and his wife Ann Marie, Elizabeth L. "Betsey" Coyne and her husband William, Catherine E. Rowand and her husband Zachary, his 2 brothers and their wives John Fetter and his wife Deborah, Paul Fetter and his wife Carol, his 2 sisters and their husbands, Mary Norris and her husband Bill and Catherine Fetter.
