Ethel M. Doll of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Twining Village Health Care, Holland. She was 85.
She was the beloved wife for 55 years of the late Robert Francis Doll.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Hirth Merz.
Mrs. Doll was a resident of Newtown for the past 20 years. She was a faithful communicant of the Church of St. Andrew in Newtown. Ethel enjoyed travelling to new and exciting places and held a special place in her heart for all types of animals. Her family was first and foremost in her life. She always enjoyed the special times spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children, Robert F. Doll Jr. of Newtown, Donna A. DeLisi and her husband, Paul, of Holtsville, NY, and Thomas C. Doll and his wife, Lauren, of Ronkonkoma, NY. She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Kristopher, Jullianne, Thomas C. Jr., and Michael Doll.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Monday evening, October 26, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
Interment will take place at Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.
