Michael P. Walton, age 69, of Warrington passed away at his home on Thursday evening, October 22, 2015. His loving family was by his side.

Michael was born on October 26,1945 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of Frank L. and Mercedes Ebbecke Walton.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gwynneth Pollock Walton, his children, Michael Walton, Michele O’Neill (Patrick), Kimberly McCarty (Leo), and Heather Steinmetz (Richard) and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Eric, Mark, Olivia, Drew, and Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Melanie Lynn, and siblings Francis, Harry, William, Mercedes, and Vincent.

A 1963 graduate of North Catholic High School, Michael proudly served with the United States Marine Corp from 1963 until 1967, during which time he served as a Radio Operator for the 3rd Marine Division during the Vietnam War.

He then led a long career as an electrical contractor. He owned and operated Walton Electric for over 25 years. In his later career, he invented and marketed the G-Clip.

Michael generously volunteered with several Warrington Township organizations, including the Veteran Affairs Committee and the Rotary Club.

He will be remembered as a loving husband with a steadfast devotion to his family. He treasured many lifelong friendships. He was a natural teacher and had a strong curiosity that led him on a path of unceasing self-education. His kind heart, generous spirit, and anecdotal stories will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Wednesday, evening October 28, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and to his Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 29th at 9:15am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. His interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
