Roger M. Lloyd of Buckingham Township died peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Pine Run Health Care in Doylestown. He was 77.

He was the beloved husband of Ann Peixoto Lloyd for 54 years.

Born in Huntington, New York, he was the son of the late Silas M. and Florence Sturdevant Lloyd.

Mr. Lloyd was a resident of Buckingham Township for the past 40 years. He graduated from Penn State University with his degree in chemical engineering, attended the Naval Post Graduate school in Monterey, CA and earned his Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Princeton University. He was a proud Navy veteran who retired after his 20 year career as a Navy pilot. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and was an avid fan of all types of sports who especially enjoyed watching Penn State football and Yankee’s baseball games.

He enjoyed the special times spent with his children and grandchildren and will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his four children, Roger M. Lloyd Jr. and his wife, Amy, of Chalfont, Laurie Ann Ochs and her husband, Howard, of Vasselboro, ME, Amy L. Morita of Novi, MI, and Diana Hartman and her husband, Timothy, of Fairfax Station, VA. He is also survived by his sister, Julie Mills and her husband, Bruce, of Pensacola, FL and his eight loving grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, October 26, 2015, from l0:00 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Mansfield, PA.
