D. Shirley Kapsalis of Doylestown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with her loving family by her side at Pine Run Healthcare. She was 85.

She was the beloved wife of the late James N. Kapsalis and mother of the late Virginia K. Bardi.  

Born in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise Brown Sansom.

Surviving are her children, Peter and Charles Kapsalis; her brother, William Sansom; her grandchildren, Mark and Michael Bardi and James Kapsalis; and her son-in-law, Mark S. Bardi (the late Virginia).

Services and interment will be held private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Doylestown Hospital, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
