Patricia A. Cristinzio of Northeast Philadelphia died on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 82.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Cristinzio was the beloved wife of 60 years to Joseph J. Cristinzio and was a life long resident of Philadelphia. She was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph W. and Anna Mae Grabfelder Ashton.
Patricia was a graduate of Mastbaum High School and worked for several years as a secretary for National Sugar Company in Philadelphia. During the war she gave her time as a Gray Lady at several hospitals in the city. Patricia was very talented with her hands and made many crafts that she donated for charity auctions at her children’s school bazars. She gave her time and talents to the Mother’s clubs at St. Joseph’s Prep and Nazareth Academy where her children went to school and to this day she would volunteer her time at Mount Nazareth.
In addition to her beloved husband, Patricia is survived by her loving children; Susan DiFlorio, Cynthia Hepp and her husband Mark, Joseph Cristinzio and his wife Edna, Anne Santilli and her husband Mario and , Michael Cristinzio and his wife Lisa, She is also survived by 9 dear grandchildren; Stephanie, Christian, Daniel, Lisa, Matthew, Antonio, Michael, Steven, and Giana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday October 15, from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland. Interment will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Patricia’s family would appreciate contributions in her memory to Mount Nazareth Convent, 2755 Holme Ave., Phila, PA 19152.
