Donald L. Johnson Sr. of Warminster, PA died on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia surrounded by his family. He was 64.

He was the beloved husband of Karen E. Beck Johnson for 40 years.

Born in Grafton, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Artie F. and Flora F. Teets Johnson and brother of the late Howard, Everett, Terry, Bob, Perry, Max and Tom Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a resident of Warminster for the past 43 years. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran having served during the Vietnam War. For 42 years Don was employed by Northampton Township Municipal Authority and was Director of Operations for the past 10 years. He was a member of American Legion Post # 945 in Warrington. Don was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a dedicated family man who loved making memories with his family. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two sons, Donald L. Johnson Jr. and his wife, Megan, of Warminster and Paul F. Johnson of Warminster and his fiancee’, Courtney Jones, of Warrington. He is also survived by his brother, Burley Johnson of Kingwood, W.VA., his three sisters, Shirley Johnson of Point Marion, PA, June Rhoades and Marilyn Coffman, both of Tunnelton, W.VA., his grandson, Braden Johnson and was expecting the birth of his second grandson in January 2016.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Wednesday evening, October 14, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
