Harry Gilmour of Ivyland, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Abington Hospice of Warminster with his family by his side. He was 84.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Evelyn O’Britas Gilmour.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Sarah Fannin Gilmour.

Mr. Gilmour was a resident of Ivyland for the past 34 years. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran having served our country during the Korean War. He was employed as an electrician for 37 years at Heintz Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia before his retirement in l993. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and boating. He will be sadly missed as a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Harry is survived by his son, Timothy M. Gilmour and his wife, Eileen, of Glenside, his son’s mother and his devoted caregiver, Lois Carr of Harleysville; two grandchildren, Katie and Michael Gilmour; his sister, Edith Schafer of Lady Lakes, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Florence Schilling.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment with military honors will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
