Thomas B. Konowalczyk of Ivyland, died peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2015, at his home. He was 55.
Born in Philadelphia, Tom was a resident of Bucks County all of his life.
He was the devoted son of Anthony C. and Dorothy M. Widdows Konowalczyk; He is the dearest father of Bradley T., Brett H., and Bryce C. Konowalczyk.
Tom was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1978 where he played football and baseball. He attended Bucks County Community College. Tom enjoyed being with people and was in sales for many years for Blatt Tire Co. During his career he received many awards for his excellence in communication and sales.
Tom loved life; he thrived for adventure, and was a fun guy to hang around. Tom enjoyed landscaping, golfing and traveling with family. He was an avid Philly sports fan and looked forward to working on anything with an engine. He will be sadly missed by his big family and many friends.
In addition to his 3 sons and parents, Tom is survived by his 2 brothers; John A. Konowalczyk (Connie), Craig J. Konowalczyk as well as his 2 sisters;, Lynn M. Kopacz (Paul) and Cindy M. Scipione (Bruno). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Tom’s family will receive condolences on Saturday October 10, 2015 at St. John United Methodist Church 820 Almshouse Rd. Ivyland from 1:00pm until his Memorial Services 2:00pm. Interment will be private.
