William E. Cancel, Sr. of Keller, TX and formerly a long time resident of Feasterville died on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the North Texas VA Medical Center. He was 66.
He was the loving and devoted husband of 48 years to Jeanne A. (Graham) Cancel.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bill he was the son of the late Frank and Ida Mae (Pagan) Cancel.
He attended Bensalem High School and went on to serve proudly in the US Army during which time he served for two years in Vietnam. He was a master automotive mechanic and Service Manager for Al's Auto in Trevose, PA for over 25 years before relocating to Texas in 2001.
An avid Harley Davidson rider and enthusiast, he also loved to golf, fish, hunt, go boating and do pretty much anything that was outdoors and he loved to share those activities with his son, Bill Jr.
Bill will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and for his sense of humor and sarcastic wit which was always a sign of affection to those he loved.
Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife, Bill Sr. is survived by his son Bill, Jr. and his wife, Valerie (Nieckoski), of Feasterville; his grandchildren, Tyler and Victoria Cancel; his brother Robert Walsh (the late Maria) and his sisters and their husbands, Barbara Carson (Robert) and Carole Chafin (Robert).
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday September 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM until his Memorial Service 11:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. His interment with Military Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
