Carolyn M. Brown of North Wales, PA died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 4, 2015 at her daughter’s residence. She was 80.

She was the beloved wife of 33 years to the late Bernard F. Brown.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida Blaise Ursbruck and mother of the late Richard L. Teeter.

Carolyn was a former resident of Willow Grove before moving to North Wales in 2001. She had worked with ICC in Fort Washington for many years in data entry until her retirement. Carolyn was a communicant of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales and in her leisure she enjoyed playing shuffle board and participating in the Weigh In Group in Montgomery Township.

Carolyn treasured spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren whom she adored. She was always present for family functions and activities and will be remembered fondly for her ability to always remain young at heart. She will be dearly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Marie A. Holzhauer and her husband, George, of Willow Grove, Kathryn M. Goldress and her husband, Joseph, of Chalfont, and Jeanette E. Messina and her husband, Matthew, of Hatboro. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her sister Roberta Neill of Drexel Hill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, September 11th from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901 and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
