John F. Oresic of Pipersville died Thursday June 12, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 58.

John was the beloved husband of 24 years to Sally A. (Donchez) Fabian-Oresic.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of John S. Oresic of Delaware and Jean Petro Kozak of Bensalem.

John was a longtime resident of Doylestown before recently moving to his dream home in Pipersville. He attended Rutgers University were he received his Undergraduate Degree and continued his studies graduating from Villanova University with a Master’s Degree. John was employed with the Bucks County Department of Corrections for 35 years. In his current role he served as an Administrator. In his leisure time he loved nature and the outdoors. John enjoyed skiing, hiking, fly fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. As an avid outdoorsman he also loved spending quality time with animals especially Akita Dogs. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife Sally, John is survived by his son Jesse, daughter- in-law Allison, and his granddaughter Abigail Grace Fabian of Collegeville. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Frank Oresic and his wife Aod of Bangkok, Thailand, Thomas Oresic and his wife Christine of Chloride, AZ, Jeanine Giantisco and her husband Richard of Milford, NJ, Joan Kangas of Houston, TX, Sharon McCollick and life partner Bruce of Philadelphia and his Petro cousins, Carol, Teresa Mary, Rosemary and Jennifer. He was the beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Oresic.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 3:30pm until his Funeral Service 5:30pm on Monday June 16th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. John’s interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Pennsylvania SPCA (pspca.org) or Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (bchip.org.)
