Eugenia “Jennie” Boyko of Yardley passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday June 12, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 91.

Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Walter Boyko.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Maxim and Julia Swiencicki-Yakimchuk and was preceded in death by 6 of her brothers and sisters.

Jennie was a former resident of Philadelphia where she lived until her children were grown and married and then moved to New Jersey. Jennie eventually moved to Yardley in 2007. She worked at various jobs during her career. Jennie especially enjoyed working as a Data Processor for the Internal Revenue Service. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, shopping with her daughter and spending time with her friends at the senior center.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children Walter Boyko and his wife Donna of Holland and Carol J. Crotty and her husband Edward of Yardley along with her 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her 2 sisters, Cassie Sauchak and Helen Maicher, both of Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am on Thursday June 19th in St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1545 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.
