Ian Mark Jones
April 29, 1983 – August 10, 2015
On Saturday August 10, 2015, the world lost an amazing man. Ian Mark Jones of New York, NY and formerly of Yardley, PA passed away unexpectedly in an unfortunate kayaking accident on the Hudson River. His life was filled with creativity. Ian was a successful model with IMG in New York. Not only was he a beautiful model, but he was a beautiful soul. He was a kid at heart, funny, down to earth, caring man. He was a bright light to all who knew him. He was also a talented, published photographer with a special eye for the homeless. His Street Kids Project allowed many homeless youths to transform their lives and give them hope. Ian was a dedicated participant in the AA Organization and through them affected many other lives with his testimony. We love you with all our hearts. Rest in Peace Sweet, Sweet Ian. We will see you again.
He is survived by his mother, Sherron Jones of Yardley, PA; his Aunt and Uncle, Kim and Dave Michie; his two cousins, David and Cameron Michie of Maple Glen, PA; his Aunt Toni Kent and cousins, Stetson Kent and Madison Ortiz of Orlando, FL; and his Uncle and Aunt, James Jones and Maggie Jones of Orlando, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service and Celebration of Ian’s life on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
There will be an opportunity to greet the family immediately following the service.
