Constance M. Lombardi, of Yardley, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Crestview North with her family by her side. She was 80.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Peter LaRobere and Catherine McCarthy Hemmert.

She was preceded by her husband of over 50 years, Alfonso R. Lombardi.

Connie was a resident of Bucks County for over 45 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and taking care of their home. An avid volunteer, she especially loved helping at St. Mary Medical Center. Connie had a talent for hand crafting small dolls, and would make and distribute them at St. Mary’s as part of her volunteerism, and also taught a small class on how to hand make a Rosary. Another organization that was dear to her heart was the Bucks County Pro Life Coalition.

Connie was a loving mother, sister and grandmother, and will be dearly missed.

Constance is survived by her sons: Richard J. Lombardi and his wife Susan of Chalfont, Thomas P. Lombardi and his wife Cora of Seattle, WA, and Stephen Lombardi and his wife Janet of Nesquehoning; her daughter: Maryann Seelagy and her husband Marc of Newtown; her brother: John LaRovere and his wife Maria of Philadelphia; and 7 grandchildren: John, Shana, Ryan, Jordan, James, Krista, and Christopher. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Lombardi and sister Patricia Costello.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Ave., Yardley, PA 19067.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, P.O. Box 355, Feasterville, PA 19053 or St. Mary’s Life Program, www.stmaryhealthcare.org/TheLIFECenter
