Susan Smith of Churchville, PA died peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 57.

She was the beloved wife of William C.A. Smith for 25 years.

Born in Oceanside, NY, she was the daughter of Marion Pettit Snekenberg and the late William Snekenberg.

Susan was a resident of Churchville since 2001 and formerly lived in Baldwin, NY. She graduated from Hicksville High School in Long Island, Class of 1976. She was a very active member of Friends of Bill W. and sponsored several ladies through her membership. Susan was a spiritual person who’s faith and love of God gave her the strength to live one day at a time. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking , working with stained glass, and doing crafts. She will be dearly missed as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Christopher J. Smith and his finace’, Heather Dooley, of Levittown, PA and William D. Smith of Churchville. She is also survived by her mother, Marion Pettit Snekenberg of Paoli, PA and her two sisters, Lynne Barr and her husband, Brian, of Malvern, PA and Donna Hajny of Hicksville, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Friday evening, August 7, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or SPCA of Bucks County, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
