Mary M. Rajnic, a long-time resident of Newtown, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 95.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Rajnic and mother of the late Francis J. Rajnic.

Born in Coaldale, PA, Mary was a daughter of the late Cletus and Catherine Gildea Schilling.

A graduate of St. Mary’s School in Coaldale, Mary later met and married her beloved husband, Frank. Together they relocated to Newtown, PA where they were devoted parishioners of the Church of St. Andrew. Mary enjoyed puzzles and travelling, but most importantly, she treasured time with her family who will miss her dearly as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  

Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Maura C. Hesdon and Michael F. Rajnic and his wife Valerie; her four great-grandchildren, Madison, Hannah, Janie, and Justin; and her daughters-in-law, Patricia Rajnic (wife of the late Francis J.) and Sharon J. Rajnic.

In addition to her husband, her son, and her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday June 29, 2015 from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will be held at 3:00 PM in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Summit Hill, PA.
